2010 Highlights

The 2010 Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show came to a close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 24 after two full days of live cooking demonstrations, seminars, cookbook author signings, product sampling and purchasing at The Marketplace. Approximately 6,000 patrons attended the show over the two-day period.

On Saturday, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis gave two presentations on the ADI Kitchen Theatre Stage in Rupp Arena to a collective audience of 2,000. The recipes from those presentations can be found here. She also signed 200 books at the Incredible Food Show Bookstore Hosted by Joseph-Beth Booksellers. On Sunday, five regional Bluegrass Chefs, Brad Mitchell and Allyson Buchta (Governor's Mansion), Edward Lee (Louisville's 610 Magnolia), Ouita Michel (Midway's Holly Hill Inn) and Freelance TV chef Brigitte Nguyen (Food Network and The Cooking Channel) presented "Sunday Suppers," a progressive dinner cooking demonstration in Rupp. The Sunday Suppers recipes can be found here.

Also on Sunday, the winner of the God's Pantry Dream Dinner raffle drawing was selected. Bruce Davis from Lexington was the winner of a dinner for eight, prepared by the Governor's Mansion chefs, Allyson Buchta and Brad Mitchell, at The Castle Post in Versailles, KY.

Best of Show winners were announced on Rupp's stage at 3 p.m. on Sunday. The 2010 Winners are:
